課程概述 |
我們在課堂上將討論國與國之間的倫理問題，包括：戰爭的正當性（我們可以區別正當與不正當的戰爭嗎？國家具有道德正當性嗎？）、貧困（第三世界的貧困是全球制度造成的嗎？如果是或不是，我們有什麼倫理責任？我們該課全球稅嗎？）、全球經濟正義（自由貿易對貧窮國家好嗎？出生在富國或窮國就決定了基本生命品質和各種機會的巨大不平等，正當嗎？）、人道干預（以人權為理由對他國使用武力，正當嗎？）、環境正義（我們該如何公平分配緩和氣候變遷的責任？）、難民（沒有所屬國家保障權利的難民有什麼身為「人」的權利？）、跨國民主與國際組織（如果民主是rule by the people，people的邊界和範圍隨著全球化變動了嗎？多數影響國內的重大決策都在國外做成，國內民主幾乎是假象，我們該怎麼辦？）、民族主義或人民自決的正當性（民族在現代世界取代宗教成為「人的過去和未來」重要的歸屬感所在，但是民族有道德正當性嗎？民族和人民有內在價值嗎，或者只是實現人權的工具嗎）、人權等等。我們將在課堂上討論這些問題相關的具體國際事件、學習討論這些問題需要的概念和理論，以及認識國際世界的深層構成。
